Sara Jade doesn’t just write songs—she creates worlds through sound. A keytar-wielding force in modern indie music, she defines her style as Cinematic Pop Rock—a bold collision of pop-rock power, cinematic atmosphere, and poignant storytelling. What began in Americana rock has evolved into a larger-than-life sonic identity, where songs unfold like scenes and every moment is designed to hit with intention—because your story deserves a great score.

Raised onstage alongside her father’s band, Sara learned early how to command a room. Discovering the keytar changed everything, unlocking movement, texture, and a theatrical edge that now defines both her live performances and her production approach.

Her music has earned multiple San Diego Music Award nominations and International Songwriting Competition semifinalist honors. A dedicated community builder, she founded Songwriter Sisters in 2024 and created San Diego’s HalloWomen Spooktacular that same year, which she now co-produces annually.

 Sara Jade is currently in production on her debut thirteen-song LP, a cinematic pop rock album designed with her signature edgy, epic, and immersive sound. Support from the STEAM Engine grant is helping bring its bold creative vision to life.
