Congratulations Ricky!

Ricky is a San Diego-based band known for their vibrant blend of indie rock, sun-soaked psychedelia, and laid-back grooves.

Originally started as a solo project by Ricky Schmidt (Western Settings, Hey, Chels), the project has since evolved into a full band, bringing a richer, more dynamic sound to the stage and studio alike.

With two full-length albums under their belt—Palm Trees and Pure Fun—the band has carved out a unique niche, mixing heartfelt lyrics with surfy tones and infectious energy. Now, the band is gearing up to record their third full-length record, promising another chapter of bold, genre-defying songs that capture the spirit of Southern California.
